Ready for 2024 Eclipse

Our astronomy club has already secured a full hookup campsite - the whole campground (27 full hookups) for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse on the centerline in central Texas. We have been investigating VRBO and Airbnb along the centerline and most do not take reservations 3 years out. Some take 12-18 months out. Most we have talked with have been contacted already by "foreigners" to get housing for this 4+ minute total eclipse. The eclipse spans from near Bracketville, Texas across the country into Maine and also across much of Mexico. The totality occurs with the sun high so no matter where you are set up, if weather permits, it will be easy to view. You might consider planning now. https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoog...08Tgoogle.html

My sister lived in Casper WY and rented her front yard to tent campers for $250, RV should net you a cool grand.

Was on centerline for full eclipse in Oregon in 17. Not worth fighting crowds and high prices. Very questionable if its worth making a trip for it.
