Window Problem

I have lift up windows at the ends of my dining room slide out and bedroom slide out. The metal part that you lift to open the windows has come off 2 of the windows. Also the rubber part that goes under the metal part. We have a 2015 Montana. Is this a common problem? And does anyone have any input on fixing the problem. Two dealers have told me the whole window needs to be replaced, but I just don’t believe that. Any help is appreciated!

Probably they say to replace it because parts are not available and labor to do the repair if the parts could be found would be much more than new windows installed, and then they would be hard pressed to guarantee the work.
