Cooling fans.

I have noticed behind my circuit breaker panel grill are two cooling fans. I live in Florida, and it get mighty hot. I have never seen these cooling fans turn on. Is this something I should be worried about? They are not stuck, and do turn freely.

They are very quiet little fans. Probably if you aren’t paying close attention you won’t hear them.

Those are thermostatically controlled fans to cool the converter that is behind them. Before I changed all our inside light bulbs to LEDs, we could turn on all our rigs inside lights and shortly after the fans would both start running. Since installing the LEDs, hardly ever hear the fans run.

We were the same, pre-LEDs, turning on the Living Room lites and the fans would start, changed everything to LED and just about never hear the fans run.

We live in FL. They activate infrequently.
