Ok, thanks for the explanation that totally makes sense.
When you say "turn off the switch" are you turning that clockwise or counterclockwise for off? (I haven't even tried to move them yet) then do you use the interior electric switch to operate and whichever slide is off is overridden?
I can see this being a useful function. When we brought the unit home for the first time, with both the kitchen slides in, we were unable to check and verify that the cabinet doors on the fixed wall were secure. The two kitchen slides are on the same switch and the dinette slide is the last actuate. Long story short, the slide caught on one of the open doors and ripped it off of the hinge.
Easy fix, but my wife was not impressed.
