Electronic Leveling

I understand the need to set the zero point on the LCI 3.0 electronic leveling system. I haven't used it yet-just picked up the trailer two weeks ago. I also installed a battery cut-off switch. I'm assuming that if I switch the batteries off-so the entire trailer is dead-the zero point system will need to be reset. Is this a correct assumption? No power, no memory?

My hydraulic system has remembered the "Zero Point" after disconnecting the batteries and the shore power.

I’m pretty sure the level system has a flash memory that will retain the settings. You should be good to go with settings already in memory. This is no different than the system in our rig, hydraulic but still has electronics for the operation of leveling. I’ve had the batteries removed and reinstalled a number of times since we bought it new, have never had to reset the system.

I've used my battery cut off switch many times, and I've never had to reset the zero level.

I have had to figure out how to clear those dang error codes when one of the jacks gets extended and gets out-of-stroke. Now that is a pain in the arse, especially after you've already unhitched! But zero level is till there, once you clear the error codes.
