I only know of one way to get there right now since I-255 is closed due to construction.

44 to 55, exit east at the Poplar Street Bridge, then wind your way through all the choices and lanes to I 70.

Shouldn't be too bad.

And, what I remember of the area, do not stop in town. If you get a flat tire keep moving.

I try to avoid down town ares if possible. I would take I44 to I270N to I70E.
I255E in Illinois has construction going on.

I also would do this and as with any other route in St. Louis keep your doors closed and locked and keep moving.

That seems like a long way out of the way but you live there full time and I just part time it up there when I'm working at the refinery (stay at Bethalto at Kickapoo, formerly Bethmor).
