My way cool niece
Penny and I went to an arts & crafts show today and took a break for lunch. For desert, my magnetic north always points to funnel cakes, so we each ordered one.
As we get close to the picnic tables, Penny turned to me to say something, then tripped on uneven concrete. Her powdered sugar funnel cake ended up splattered against the front of my black T-shirt. Imagine the scene. And no, I did not say anything bad! I cracked up laughing, thinking I could have worn a white T today instead.
Not missing a beat, Penny grabbed the depleted funnel cake, waved it around wildly and shouted, "I've got a funnel cake and I'm not afraid to use it!"
Pretty sharp for a twelve-year old...

No kidding, Pat. Keep 'em coming. This is great entertainment! You 3 ladies must be a real hoot when you are all together! As you once told me, I'm laughing so hard, the silver is shaking out of my hair!!

Pat, another great story, Thanks! There isn't anything cooler than sharing fun times with kids. You obviously have both the appreciation and the temperament for that.

This is better than a mini-series - because it's real and not written by a screen writer....keep them coming.

Ha ha!
I hope she had a nice trip.
