Death Valley!!

We're off to Death Valley tomorrow. We've been there a few times but never had time to really see it, there's lots to do there. We'll be boondocking, getting ready for Quartzsite in Jan

Have a wonderful time boondocking, Charlie and Nila. I thought it was about time for you to get out of Michigan. Is that area set up for geocaching?

We were there after the rally in Minden two years ago and they were just opening up the campgrounds for the winter... That was new to us to have a campground close in the summer and open for the winter season. It was 97 when we were there in mid October and we loved it. Have a ball.

Thanks Helen

Judy,
We left Michigan Sept. 15th. We have been to the MOC rally, the balloon fiesta, Las Vegas and St. George, Utah.

Charlie, If you have not done this, and have a full day, check with the rangers first for the weather, don't want rain. There is a place called Titus Canyon. Need to drive out of the park towards one of the ghost town and then come back a 4wheel drive road into and through the canyon. Once over the mountain, you drive through a river bed (should be dry unless raining or rain the prior day or two). Then into a very narrow canyon where you will see why the road is one way.
By the way do your mirrors fold flat?

Well worth the drive, and bring a camera. Have a great time.

Charlie,

DV is one of my favorite places. For some reason I have a hard time getting my DW to see it the same way! I think when they install some "outlet stores" she'll see things differently.

You guys enjoy your visit.
