Got our 05 3380RL about 6 weeks ago....

And have so far LOVED it. We have made 3 small weekend trips and all were flawless except for our last one where a window started leaking. The dealer repaired this for us last Thursday, along with a screw that was sticking out of the bottom of our slide out. Everything seems to be fine now! We also added a second 15K btu low profile A/C to keep us nice and cool.

Congratulations, Chad, and welcome to MOC! The 3380RL is a great model with all that kitchen counter space and storage. Those are things we liked about our 2880RL, baby sister to your 3380RL, and now our 3295RK. Sounds likeyou are already enjoying it. Be sure to let us know about your adventures with it.

Thanks for the welcome !! Yes, we love the counter space. That is one of the main reasons for me purchasing it. I love to cook and our 99 Holiday Rambler just didn't have enough kitchen space in it to do much cooking. Not only do we both have Montana's, but our trucks look almost Identical too (except mine is an 04) :P

Welcome Chad to the MOC family.

There have been many days this summer we could have used a 2nd AC. Our single 15K unit has been working it's heart out keeping us cool.

Welcome, Chad. We are also proud owners of a 3380RL and purchased it because of all the counter space and storage. I am quite surprised that you got a 2005 since I was told that the model had been discontinued. We're traveling to Alaska in ours and will consider using it for fulltiming in the future. Enjoy and travel safely!

By the way, Chad, don't be fooled by the model number. Our rig measures 36' ll". That's why it seems so nice and roomy. I even saw it listed as a 33' fifth wheel but it's false advertising.

I asked the same question to my dealer about it being an 05, since the model was not listed on Keystone's site as an 05. He showed me the 05 brochure that had it in it, then the newer 05 brochure that show it. I guess somewhere between the first and second brochure they decided not to build it anymore.

Welcome Chad to the MOC family.

I agree, on our second trip we went to Panama City Beach FL. The coolest we could keep our coach was 78°, and that is only if you keep the door shut. Once I started in and out a few times grilling, the temp got up into the low 80's. The outside temp was ~95° and we had no shade what so ever. I have not been back to the beach, but on our last trip the 2nd A/C was a great addition.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will try to contribute what I can!

Our AC also struggled a bit this summer when we were in high temp, high humidity. We may have to give some thought to going with the second AC one of these days.

As Judy said, the model numbers don't really indicate actual length. Our model is 3295RK and a tape measure says 36' 4". Same model, different years, seems to vary a bit, too, although I have no idea why.

We also are the proud owners of a 3380RL. We ordered ours in January 2004 and took delivery on March 17, 2004. I was surprised that they stopped making it and it was not listed for the year 2005. We love our 3380RL Montana, with all of that counter space, also the extra wide slide in the bedroom.

Hey, Ronnelly, glad to see you posting. I may have just missed your posts but it's good to see another 3380RL owner contributing. Nice picture, too!
