Special Texas Roadhouse Recognitiion

We are pretty regular at the Lansing, Michigan Texas Roadhouse, and have become somewhat Friends with a couple managers there. After a great gig yesterday at a big nursing home in Lansing the whole band stopped in there for dinner. One of the managers came over and said, we've been looking and watching for you. We understand you have been Inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame. I said yes. He said, we have decided your loyalty to our store deserves recognition, and we would like a big glossy picture and write up of your Induction for our wall here, we will provide a nice frame. Texas Roadhouse likes to recognize their patrons with special talents, awards, and such, and we would like to recognize your award, with your picture and write up on the wall. I was caught completely off guard, but do certainly thank Texas Roadhouse and the picture is being processed. What a great climax to a wonderful gig at the Nursing Home. Nursing Homes are our favorite places to play. The smiles on the peoples faces is so very precious. My Brother plays bass with our Band, and our Sister is in that Nursing Home, so we took time to get the piano Mic'd so she could play along with us on a couple songs. Another surprise was an older Lady that went to Dad's Church for many-many years is also there, and I hadn't seen her in probably 30 years or so. What a great day it was. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie
