New Level Up Jacks

Well...I ordered two new front Jacks from lippert today. I’ve been dealing with leaks coming from the bolts on top since we have been at this RV park for nearly two years.

Anyways Lippert has already shipped them. One more thing to do before we leave this place after thanksgiving.

2 years .... you may have to chop some roots off those jacks before you can swap em out! No worries mechanically about the swap as it is a simple task. The cylinders will be self bleeding once you cycle them fully a few times. If you didn't get new fittings (really not needed), I'd be sure and replace the orings on them before you install them on the new cylinders.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn’t buy new fittings and plan on replacing all the O rings on every fitting

Just for curiosity, once you’ve replaced those jacks, if you take off one of the top plates to see where the leak is coming from, a photo would help see where and what is causing the leak. I’m thinking there are a couple of o-rings under that top plate.

That’s my plan, One of the bolts is leaking. And where the cap bolts down the the post.

The banjo fitting bolt is usually the one that causes leaks.... with top cap removed there is also a larger oring for plate cap seal

Banjo bolt pic with red arrow drawn depicting its location.. my Fifth wheel...

First pic is from US parent for earlier hyd LG leg but innards on newer design basically the same

Yup, those are the culprit. I’ll have a spare set of jacks once those seals are replaced.
