Hello:
We would like to introduce ourselves, Barbara & Gary Rice. We just bought our new Montana on June 17th. We went to Melvern Lake, one of our favorite places in Kansas. This was our maiden trip; we had Father's Day dinner in our new RV. With 7 adults, 5 grand children it was quite an initiation. This is our 4th RV, three travel trailers and now finally a 5er.

Welcome aboard, Barb and Gary! You're in my old "stomping grounds". I used to fish Melvern (not real successfully!) fairly frequently and we stayed at Eisenhower State Park several times. We're now fulltiming but have kids in Prairie Village and Merriam. So we're temporarily in Independence, MO, visiting the kids. Today I went to McPherson for a kind of a reunion of old friends and drove right past your home area, Gardner, going down I-35. Hope you didn't float away. Sure had a lot of rain on this trip. Glad to see you onboard and enjoying your Montana! Our first annual rally is coming up in September. There's a forum on it, check it out if you think you can make it.

Hello to Kansas from the beaches of North Carolina. I used to live in Kansas and worked for the Kansas Fish & Game Commision (before they merged with Parks and became KS Wildlife & Parks). I have lived in Pratt, Wichita and Topeka and still have a sister in Wichita. I traded the "oceans of wheat" for the real thang here at Sunset Beach (very near Myrtle Beach).
We are eagerly awaiting delivery of our 2004 Montana 2685FL.

Janette, welcome to you, too! We lived in Topeka for 25 years. Before that I lived in Wamego (near Manhattan), McPherson, and Wichita (Zimmerly, Sayles, and Stearman Rd). Harry St. School in Wichita. I'm sure you're enjoying those beaches!

Gary & Barb,

Welcome to MOC and thank you for taking the time to introduce yourselves and let us know a bit about you.

I have to admire your ambition on your maiden voyage. That's a heck of a lot of people. I'll be you all had a wonderful time? I just have to ask, which Model did you purchase? You made a fine choice with a Montana, regardless of which model you bought.

Patty
