Looking the best rv gps

We are full-time RV years and we’re looking for the best RV GPS out there. Any advice would be well appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

As full timers ourselves who travel all over the country, we went with the Garmin RV GPS for several reasons after researching RV GPS systems. The Garmin name has been around for a long time. It's normally a very reliable system. Good customer service. Easy to read. Has free upgrades. The newest system even has a forward facing camera.

And it has saved us more than once from low overpasses/bridges.

Rand McNally also makes a popular RV GPS, but for us it was to busy of a screen.

There are multiple phone apps to depending if you have Android or iPhone. One popular app is Truckers path and Togo RV. Go to your phone's Play Store and search.

We prefer the GPS up in front of us for better visibility and the most updated info. We definitely don't trust our trucks on board GPS when towing because we can't put in height, weight and length.

Hope this helps,

We had Rand McNally for the first 8 years of full timing. Since then we have switched to Garmin because we liked the screen better and have done 4 years with them. Either is good, but obviously we think the Garmin is a little better.

Also in the Garmin RV GPS camp. We've had our Garmin RV 770 LMT-S since June of 2019. Absolutely love the thing!
