New York Fuel Stops

We will be leaving Massachusetts at the end of May to travel to the NE Rally in PA. Our planned route has us going over the Tapenzee bridge on 87 to 287 South. We will pick up 78 down the road to end up in Kutztown PA for the rally but will probably need to fuel up not too far after crossing the Hudson river. We checked out the "Next Exit" book and didn't find any RV Friendly fuel stops for Diesel along that route. Has anyone traveled this route and found a good fuel stop? Or maybe a New Yorker might advise a different route.

Pete you won't be going over that bridge if you are heading south on the N.Y. Thruway, you will be picking up I287 at Suffern and you will be in New Jersey shortly after that. Fuel is much cheaper in NJ than NY. I don't think there are any places to refuel off I 287 that are not right off the exit. There are some truckstops on rt 17 in NJ not far off 287 that you may be able to use but traffic there is a bear and I don't know if you can get back to 287 from there.
