TV Problems

The TV goes off in the living area when a storage door is closed. The TV will work properly at times and other times quits. The bedroom TV is not affected. Anyone else have this problem

Vic - looking at your profile, your 2018 305RL does not have KeyTV.
Your floor plan is the screen shot below and the only storage door I can figure out might be the storage above the TV (is that correct?). This sounds to me like you have a loose wire/bad connection in the power outlet that the TV is plugged into. I would run an extension cord to power the TV and close the storage door thru several cycles. If TV stays on then it is your wall plug. Check to make sure the TV power cord and usb cords are all solidly plugged to the TV. You might try plugging in something else to the outlet - say a lamp - and see if the lamp acts up going off like the TV did just to further test the outlet.

If all of this checks out and the plugs are in snug - then the storage door vibration has found a weak spot in the TV. If that is the case - I would go to Sams or Costco and buy a new smart TV for $350 or so. Chances are good that you will need to make some minor adjustments to get the new TV to fit your existing TV mount. The hole pattern on the TV will fit - but I had to move my bracket up by 1” or so to get the new Samsung centered in the TV cabinet.

Thanks for the information. I have tried several of your suggestions and I have now feel that my problem is probably in the wiring from the air antenna. I came to this conclusion as the problem does not exist on cable.

Vic, when you said your TV turns off, do you mean loses power or loses signal. Mike (and I) assumed you meant the TV lost power. If it is losing signal, starting at your TV, check antenna connections. Then, check at the antenna plate, on both sides (remove the plate and check the connection on the back side). The next most likely spot is one that the techs fixed for us at rally. The slide rooms are installed and then connections are made after the slide room is installed. There is a junction near where the cables come into the slide. There was a small plate screwed into the aluminum skirting and the connection was behind that plate. Keep us posted on your success. Good luck.

Tames. Thanks for the information. I have pretty much identified the problem is the antenna cable and once I find the splitter I think I can solve the problem. Vi c

The antenna wire comes straight from the Air 360+ to the KeyTV. There is also a connection inside the dome.
