GM intermediate steering shaft rattle
Well, the thing was driving me bananas with that rattle from the excessive clearance it had developed. At low speeds it felt like the whole front end was loose. I had talked to my dealer back in East TX about replacing it with the updated shaft, but never go a "round tuit". So, I took it to the GM dealer here in Aransas Pass yesterday morning. Small dealer, big personality. They had me bring it back in at 1:30 PM, and had the new shaft in in less than an hour. When I take the survey back, I will get a free vehicle detail. BTW, it drives like a new one now. I hope it lasts, but if it doesn't, I'm gonna enjoy it while I can.
