ducted ac query

Our 3295 does not have a front AC but it does have the ducted rear AC.
Question is, it it easily converted to ducted front AC or is the reality to go with non ducted AC? I want to upgrade this spring.

If you pull your front vent you will know if the front AC area is ducted or not. If not them you will probably have to go with the stand alone bedroom type unit. Same as what I have in this 3295.

The through ducting needs to be done during the build stage. I do not believe it can be an add-on.
Good luck.

I did on my '05 3270. I connected to the ductwork that ran to the bedroom. I built the connecting ductwork with 1/4" foamboard, put in another outlet over the bed, cut into the existing ductwork which is just aluminum covered cardboard. It was not too hard to do and works just fine. It is not connected to the thermostat for the other unit.

Just checked, my front vent is wired for AC but not ducted.
