Good pictures and thanks. Did you have to cut the cable lengths or just route them as is?

The 96 and 72" lengths worked fine. There are many different ways to route the lines. You just need to find the smoothest route. I had actually found 2 96" valve kits on eBay for a good price from a surplus seller. Since there was no packaging, I suspect they came from a out of business mfg. as Valterra does not offer a 96" kit. Anyhow I had previously just purchased a Valterra 72" cable for my grey tank and used the inner Valterra cable in the Bristol outer cable which required a slight of alteration of the length due to the way the valves are built. So this time instead of cutting the second new 96" cable I just kept it for a spare and used the old modified cable to go to the black tank, so it had to be cut again to fit the new Valterra valve. So after cutting the cable two different times it is probably a couple of inches shorter. Clear as mud? Long story short I think you are fine with the 72 and 96" lengths.

I replaced ours last year and also found a tight bend in the cables just behind the convenience center. I re-routed the cables to provide a soft gradual bend. The sharp bend may have created a friction point and faster internal wear and binding. Hoping these will function smoothly for years to come. I'm sure you feel good getting this PITA job completed. I sure did
