We are thinking on wintering next year near Parker, so would like any info on parks that you have used. We will have a boat so near a boat ramp would be a plus. Thanks,KJ

That is one area we have been considering as well. Look forward with much interest in what you may find. Thanks in advance.

Keith,
The California side of the Colorado River at Parker, the town is called Earp. Take a look at this site: http://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/california/earp

We have been to Emerald Cove Park and it isn't too bad, and they do have a boat ramp etc. and they have monthly rental sites, too.

We are now in the La Paz County RV park and it is OK. Not much shade and not all sites have full hookups. We drove from here up to Parker dam and then down the Cslif. side. There are ton of parks on both sides of the river, some look very nice others not so good.

Go on line and look at the web sites and the reviews. We would stay here again but would ask in advance for a site with shade and full hookups. I have been told that there is a "honey wagon" that will drain your tanks for a fee but have not tried it and don't know the cost.
