That's one way to do it Russ. I'm still undecided about what to do though, as that'll leave me with the heater in one place. Just can't seem to figure out how to have everything without getting a second heater!

I sent an email to Mr. Heater and this is part of the reply that I got back.
If you Had an MH18B, hose #F271802 will tie into RV source and connect to the quick connect on the MH18B. The quick connect bypasses the internal regulators in the MH18B.

Problem is that there is none. Look at the parts diagram and breakout.

I've been using Mr. Heater for 3 yrs now. Just bought their 15 ft hose and a filter. Use a 20 lb tank set outside and run the hose through the bottom corner of the slide. There's just enough gap to run the hose between slide seal and frame without pinching the hose.
