Double Towing,,,,
First trip double towing. Towed the Chevy HHR 4 down, and of course it rained the entire trip. No problem other than the Chevy HHR was covered in road spray. Ran it thru the car wash, just like new, its always nice for the car to be clean when it rains . Thanks Camping World for a job well done. They installed the towing system on our Chevy HHR. We are a little long but keeping our fingers crossed . GBY....

Did you hook up a brake for the car while it is towed?

Do you have a photo of the rig all hooked up and double towing?
I would like to see one whenever you have one available.

Lindy,
Glad to hear all went well! I bet your DS and HHR combined hardly made that Sportchassis work.

As for pictures I will have to have Delaine do that I just drive the Truck . We do have a brake system for the Chevy HHR which takes about 5 minutes to install and it runs a check to let you know its working. We also have a instrument in the Freightliner that tell us if it quits working. Our system is called Roadmaster M2, and I must admit Delaine did all the research ( I drive the Truck) and after many hours of talking with Blue Ox and Roadmaster we went with the Roadmaster system. As said Camping World installed the system. The only thing we have to do to the Chevy HHR is remove the number 8 fuse which isn't much of a problem but we will be putting a switch in to turn it on and off without removing the Fuse. Dave I couldn't tell any difference in towing the Chevy HHR than just towing the 5er. I for sure have plenty of Truck and it has training wheels . GBY.......

Lindy,
I've had a few 2nd thoughts about buying the new F350 instead of the Sportchassis. Being I am not on the road as much as years past, I figured the M2 was overkill. Trying to find a carwash and parking for the Super Duty is not much easier than the M2 and part of me still wishes I'd gone that route. Such is life...Enjoy your new Rigs! Tell Delanie I am waiting for updated photos.
