Getting truly fed up with winter!

I live in Virginia for crying out loud! Just finished getting 8" of snow, it'll be close to 70 on Thursday, and there's snow forecast for next Tuesday! Several nights in the 20's in the next ten days. Supposed to un-winterize and take the Monty out on April 23rd and I'm running out of time to do spring tune-up & cleaning. This is getting on my nerves - New Mexico is calling for certain.

As far as the cold is concerned New Mexico hasn't been all that good either. We're waiting to move from Yuma to east of Pheonix in two weeks and New Mexico a week after that. High here was 86 a couple of days ago and the high in Albuquerque was only 49.

You guys in the mid-Atlantic states have had it pretty rough this winter, for sure. I can sympathize. This latest blast missed us but I saw it snowing on FoxNews at the White House. As far as cold temps go, we are finally above freezing today. Better tomorrow and through the weekend, but another dip next week. I'm also getting anxious as I need to put tires on the trailer before we go anywhere. So far, I hesitate to even take the cover off.

70s-80s here in Redding Ca. Waxed truck, Montana, service generator, been camping five times already! Got to love the West! If you like, high prices, taxes, crime, taxes, restrictive laws, taxes...... Otherwise it's great!

My calendar says spring will arrive in a few hours. I hope winter is over for y'all! I have to head over that way in a few weeks

As a bit of down-to-earth reality check news. I seem to remember that each year on our inaugural Easter week camping trip, that we still see snow here in the hills. This year we will be in New Orleans, so I am fairly confident we will be completely out of the snow zone! Hopefully the roads do not see the white stuff during our travels there and back. Was listening to the radio on the way to work this morning, and although Spring arrives today, a warning was sent out regarding expected cold, cold temperatures next week. Holding on for a glimpse of Spring here in the hills, nonetheless!!

Winter has been unusually uncomfortable all over this winter for sure. I don't expect this to make anyone feel better but when we left Wisconsin on Feb. 27,(don't ask why we waited so long), the temp was -8 degrees. We're now in sunny Texas with lows in the 40's, highs in the 70's and 80's and it sure feels GOOD!!!

We have had it pretty rough down here in Florida as well. Rained for two days and dropped into the 60s.

I hear ya, I went out for a morning bike ride and it was only 63 degrees so I had to wear a long sleeve t-shirt. Winter weather is getting old!
