Really wanted to see Mark win....He's almost won so many times. It's his hometown and he's a nice guy. Maybe next year.

Consider this, Junior is asking for ownership of DEI, so he can refuse to sign a contract. GM ,in this case Goodwrench, pulled off RCR because they will sponsor Junior next year and for the following ten years, driving the NO 3 car. NASCAR is backing it, can you imagine the fans that will go nuts?

Wow Virg...... Someone has a lot of 'splaing to do to me. I haven't a clue what this is all about but if I'm going to have a lot in Florida, I'd better learn to speak the language. LOL

John (Fulltimefollies)
The problem with your conjecture is that RCR owns the number 3. While I think Richard Childress would do just about anything to get Junior to drive the 3 car for him, I do not believe that he will sell the rights to the 3 to another owner.
Helen, Miss Jo and I can start your lessons at any time.

Interesting the the day of the race was the anniversary of Senior's death. The guy I was flying for at that time took great care of the crew...got us pit passes and tickets for the truck race the day prior and tickets to the 500.
