Registration Cards

We can't remember if we filled out all the product registration cards on the last two new campers. Now have the third new one and there are a lot of products to register! Besides, you have to find the s/n on each appliance and scan the manuals to find the card to fill out. Probably need to do this but is time consuming!

I never fill the cards out. The dealer has the date of sale that has been good enough for when I need warranty work.

Thing is, a LOT of that other stuff has warranties that are a lot longer than Keystone's. Your AC and refer are good for at least three years if not five. I know the water heater and furnace are. Dimplex and the galley faucet people are just about lifetime. Don't know how long LCI stuff like Level-Up & etc. is, but you've only one year on your coach by Keystone.

My living room AC quit last week. All that was required was the bill of sale. Tech can also trace via SSN with the manufacturer. We have never bothered with the cards, and have never been denied service.

My dealer does that for his customers.

We purchased both our Montana's from the same dealer and they filled out all the registration and warranty cards as part of the purchase.

I seldom fill them out anymore, many of them say you have to show proof of purchase to get service so I'll start with that if I need service.

The only thing i think the cards do is if there is a recall on an item the company can contact you direct, You cant always count on the dealer to do the same thing. i filled them out.

Most can be done on line- easy to do and warranties are almost always
covered by individual appliances.
