Front Sliding Closet Doors
Has anyone had a problem with their front
Sliding closet doors coming apart while driving.
They are really loose on the bottom that they slide
Apart. If so how have you fixed the problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

I took our doors down and made a small mod. Notice the slot in the metal on top of the door (2). At the closed end of the slot, just beyond the metal, drill a small hole and install a wood screw allowing about 1/4 inch to stand above the wood. One at each metal slot. Reinstall the doors, making sure to snap the plastic keepers into the bottom tracks, takes some force. Loop a nylon tie strap around the carrier stud and the newly installed screws, pull it tight. Clip off excess. Install a cup hook inside the closet near the wall, and another outside the door near the wall. Use bungee cord to hold doors open while traveling. This has resolved our problem.

Keystone made a mod from the 2013 closet doors with one floor track to two tracks and different, possibly improved hardware, on the top of the 2014 closet doors. While I had all the new hardware to rectify the closet door issue on our 2013, our rv repair only bothered to place the double floor track and not the new top hardware. Guess what, the doors still come apart from the top area. Never able to find out why the top hardware was not installed. I may try Larry's (Hook) fix. We are using bungy cords on our 2013 closet doors.

My 2013 3150 was like that after talking with Keystone and looking at a 2014 it had a double track on the bottom where mine was single. The dealer replaced the bottom track with the double and problem solved.

My 2011 closet doors stayed in place,. My 2014 doors come off every time i move it. I am asking the dealer to fix, but in reality I know the problem will not be fixed until I "McGiver" something. Thanks for the ideas! I thought I might try to contact the person who designed this system, but the Napa State Mental hospital wouldn't let me in!

I have had three of the doors replaced as they were separating from all of the side to side movement.
My dealer's fix was to use the same U shaped latch that exists now on the two center doors, and mount another one. It is placed at the bottom of the two center doors, just above the floor. When you hook the two doors together, the longer side of the U drops into a bracket that they installed in the floor. This pins the center doors, and prevents them from sliding side to side.

The dealer (Lazy Days) fixed one side of mine at delivery. The long wood vertical trim came off one door allowing it to slide all the way across. Their wood shop used silicon adhesive and brad nailer to reattach. Yesterday I noticed the other side starting to work loose. Instead of dragging out my compressor and nail guns I not only used clear silicon adhesive but I predrilled and reattached with 3/4" stainless screws. As far as double top and bottom tracks, I pulled up and down on all the doors and I am pretty sure road bounce can't cause mine to come out, since I couldn't lift them out.

We've no problem with them coming loose, but (naturally) my assigned side doesn't like to slide worth beans. The left one works great and slides all the way back and forth. The right side won't no matter how I adjust it. Another one of those things someday I'll fix.

My '14 3150RL doors came off enroute home from the dealer. I fixed the right side doors. The flat strip was held on with small wire brads. I glued it back on and used longer paneling nails predrilling the nail holes. Next trip the left side came apart.
Screw this......I now have both sides bungied open and we never close them. Poor design. Built Broke. You can not fix Broke.

Thanks for the replies so far. Monday I am going to call Keystone
and talk to them and see what they say. But I will probably use some
of your suggestions that I read hear. If I hear anything good from Keystone I will let you guys know what they said.

We bungy cord our doors open while traveling, and this keeps the middle door safely sandwiched while traveling. We simply hook a bunny in the last hole in the clothes hanger holes and then over the far edge of the middle door. We have had issues when traveling without doing this and learned the hard way that two bungie cords are a simple solution.

After we had the doors replaced we reinforced the stops and put limiting straps on the two doors. We also put twist ties on the plastic clips on the upper trolleys so they won't come open and let the doors fall off the upper trolleys. Haven't come off since
