Screws

We purchased our 2004 29RL Montana in April and have only used it 6 times since - we plan to retire at the end of this year and do some serious traveling. We have not encountered many problems during these expeditions, but I have one problem that is causing me great concern and it is that the screws that are holding the side curtains on are coming out of the wall and no matter what size screw I try to replace it with - it doesn't work.

I know that someone out there has experienced the very same problem as we have, and has a very good solution. If so, please let me know.

I don't have the same set up you do, but I use wafer screws on the wall. They are used to put metal studs together and have a very sharp point and a rather course thread which grips very well. If you need a more decorative screw, try to inject caulking into the existing hole with a caulking gun. The very carefully screw in your favorite screw and let the caulking dry over night.
