Got the fever bad!
We've been members since February and since have not been able to get out and enjoy our 2955RL. We're planning on several trips, the first over Memorial Day weekend, where we will head on up to Fairmont Hot Springs in British Columbia. Until then all I can do is sit in the rig and dream!

When we first got our 3400RL, Paul couldn't keep me out of it. I wanted to sleep in it in the driveway. Couldn't wait till we took our maiden voyage. It was everything we had dreamed of. Everything was perfect. Yours will be to. I know how hard it is but when it happens you will have to keep pinching yourself to make sure it is actually happening. Happy RVing.

Eagle,
Stand in line, we purchased our 2955 in September and only had it out once and have been waiting all winter! Let's go out together and SOON!

There is no better feeling that getting that coach out on the open road. Spring will be here before we know it and the camping spree will be on...

Welcome Eaglerunner, to the MOC family. We all have the fever by now. I usually take the cover off April 1st. Can't wait to wash and wax my baby and get ready for the years first trip. Happy trails.

We're supposed to get anywhere between 1 and 2 feet here tonight, I guess I'm going to have to wait a little longer too.

We took a hike around Black's Link, a mountain trail. All in all, it was about a 5 mile hike. It was about 69 degrees with 64% humidity. There was a good breeze out of the north to dry the prespiration, a near perfect day for hiking on a Hong Kong mountain trail. My visitors from the States were awe inspired by the beautiful views available.
We were hiking with such energy that a Chinese passerby struck up a conversation in excellent English. She could not contain herself, so asked my guests how old they were. On learning they were 75, she said, "Wow, I am twenty years younger and I am struggling with this trail. You guys are doing great!"
I guess I have a mean streak to feed your fever like this.

Well, I hate to rub it in - but we just got back from spending spring break in Austin and Fredericksburg, TX. Austin had the SXSW music festival going all week and Fredericksburg and Luckenbach had spring break activities + Trade Days. The weather was great (a little rain one night). We returned Saturday to 4+ inches of rain (Dallas and other places got 11 + for the "storm event").

When we bought our Montana last year, there was no way we could have shown your patience! We had it out the next weekend on a “get acquainted” trip. Fun and informative at the same time!

srasbeary - Scott, welcome to the forum.
There's a topic on "Generators" going right now in the "General" forum.
You'll find lots of discussion on generators by using the "search" button in the top righthand corner. Search for "generator" and be sure you search "all forums", "entire message", and "last year" to get plenty of opinions. I think you'll find most folks here use the Honda "E" series but they're pretty pricey. Some of the "Chinese" ones on the market (Pep Boys, Auto Supplies, Harbor Freight, etc.) have (or had) problems with getting the total amperage from one outlet. I think some have corrected that now. Some folks were making a "pigtail" to plug into both AC outlets at the same time by splicing extension cords together.
