Here in washington State we are between $2.70 & $3.00 a gal. Does anyone else see or know that most all oil that comes from the Good old USA cost more then overseas oil.
And, yes, we do have Goverment Regulation on oil, it is called the Bush administration.
Just another thought.

Both. I utilize which ever is cheapest. On the Interstates we have found the Flying J's to be cheapest and around the cities it is usually the Hess stations. Cheapest here in northern NY is the Indian reservation above Messena at about 2.45

As far as where we buy Diesel I do look for the best price within reason. I can tell you that my company pays more for fuel here in washington than alot of other states. We are in the marine Industry
and do not pay road tax We also buy more than 600,000 gal per month. Now they do not pay $3.00 per gal. but it is not cheap, here on the west coast we are getting screwed. Almost all of our oil comes from Valdez Alaska, We also have 4 major Refineries a few smaller ones here in Washington: BP Cherry Point Washington, Connco/Phillips Ferndale Washington, Shell oil March Point Anacortes Washington, Tesoro March Point Anacortes Washington, Us Oil Tacoma Washington, Union Oil Point Wells Edmonds Washington, These are the ones that we deal with. There are more along the Columbia River,Then More along the coast of Calif. Also these Refineries are very busy, you will have to take my word on this because I have no proof other then this is what I do for a living..
Just another thought

I buy wherever is cheapest except I will bypass a station that looks dirty and unkempt. If they can't keep their station clean then I don't even want to know the condition of their tanks and the diesel they hold.

I read in the new diesel power mag. that the reason for high diesel prices is because the U.S. is exporting so much diesel to other countries. That's just what I read.

They just keep going up every day..today, northern, Ohio Gas 239.9 diesel 259.9. Group of us were going to Niagara falls area this week(@ a 500 mile round trip)but several of the group, both gas and diesel said they could not handle that, these are working folk that had better things to do with the 100.00 or so $ it would have cost in fuel alone.Helen and I are going to wine county as Helen declared a "wine emergency" It will be a one tank trip in the F-350 gasser..not exactly cheap...

Man I am glad I live in Florida where the most I have seen diesel at was $2.55. If I had to pay $259.9 a gallon for diesel I wouldn't be going any place either.

Just kidding with you richfaa.

I topped off my Dodge this morning at Murphy's (WalMart) and paid 2.21 a gallon.(Gainesville, Texas) Regular gas was 2.28 so I figured Diesel was going up quickly so I topped off. Other stations in the area are charging 2.28 to 2.35.
Has anyone had any experience with BioDiesel?

There is a web site www.gasbuddy.com that shows prices around the country for those planning on leaving their own area. I'm glad Texas hasn't seen the prices some of you are paying. I drive my Diesel to and from work and around everyday. Get 16-19 mpg so if diesel goes to $3.00 I might have to park it and drive the wifes car. (ha, ha).

You might as well come to Alaska. Yesterday we bought diesel for $2.68 and it comes with a view.
