Well, I can see at least 60 people have hit on this so far, and obviously (like me), no-one can figure it out! You are right though, it will drive you crazy! Where did you come across this one? I think it's great!! Thanks for the entertainment.

I haven't figured it out, either. It was sent to me in an email by a friend. I have Animation Shop so maybe I'll take this one apart and see if I can figure it out.

Shoot. Even with Animation Shop I didn't figure it out. And I was looking at each of the 63 individual frames in the animations and moving them at a slow pace. Someday I'll take the time to really study it. But at the moment I'm having trouble caring enough to do that!

I printed out each frame. I still can't get it but I do know that they don't just alternate like it appears. The guy on the top left of the first frame moves differently.

You noticed more than I did, Sue. Printing them out is probably a good way to analyze it.

The "extra" person shows up in the group from the left when the bottom section moves from right to left (there are five "tops" that are exchanged for seven "tops". "Simple" math results in 13 people or 12 people.

Okay I agree but where does his bottom come from? Hey, I was giving you all this advice about heat and I notice we are almost as hot as you! Actually the 98 lies, my patio thermometer in the shade says 103.
