Workcamping in Florence Arizona

Desert Gardens in Florence Arizona is looking for winter work campers. They are looking for someone from October to April, which is a little too long of a period for us. We got this note yesterday. “If you hear of a couple looking for work: office person to do two (2) 10 hour days not weekends, and one person for grounds keeping. 20 hours each person = 40 hours total per couple for the site and all electric."

We stayed there last year and have reservations. The park is very nice and in a low traffic area. If you are looking for the city life, this isn’t it. There is a Wal-Mart and Safeway about 6-8 miles away. You are about 20-30 minutes from Casa Grande, 45 minutes from Apache Junction, and about an hour to Tucson. The sites are huge. Even though it is a place for people who want to get away from it all, there are lots of unique activities, a stained glass studio, and a woodshop, so you can stay as busy as you want.

If you are interested in the park, we can tell you about it. If you are interested in the position, please contact Marcy Nelson at the address on the Desert Gardens website. http://www.desertgardensrvpark.com/.

We have stayed there several times. Love it. Wish we could workcamp. That is not to be.

Dick, I think we met you last year when you had the mini rally. Will you be in Florence at all this year?
