Hmmm. The 6.7 Cummins in the Dodge comes standard with an exhaust brake. It works a bit differently. It's a sliding sleeve working somehow in the turbo assembly. I see absolutely no difference in rpm or transmission function when it's in use. I use it always when towing and sometimes when solo and going down a grade. It's a sweet setup. Anyhow, what I wanted to say is I see no change in transmission operation.
