I too, am a Timbren fan. Don't like messing with air.

I went with Airlift and lower the hitch 2" and still have 7+ inches of clearance.
Have 30lbs in the bags and that leveled up the rig which caused the Montana to be just a slight bit high in front. Wasn't enough to concern me.
Just pulled my first 300 miles yesterday and no chucking, rocking, or problems.
still not sure I needed the bags but happy with the thought they are there.

I have AirLift on my 2019 F350 and I’m VERY happy with the setup. Easy to install, work perfectly, and great customer service.

I placed an order through sdtrucksprings. didnt go as expected, I ordered the airlift compressor along with the air lift bags, the compressor shipped and I received that, will install today. The bag are a no go the warehouse is being staffed by 12 instead of 200 so shipping was extremely slow. Called sdsprings they are substituting the order with the Firestone bags no additional cost, should be here tomorrow.

If the 3 inch deflection results in the trailer cab sitting level after 3 inch deflection you might lower the hitch in the truck bed, if your hitch has the flexibility (even air bags). In addition, if the front end sits high that might reduce control. Is there anything that can be done to level the front end?

I have used both brands of air bags over the years and they work good. Air bags will definitely help with your sage problem and help with the ride. I have factory installed air bags on our Ram 3500 that auto adj when we hitch up. And I can also adj from inside.

I'm considering air bags and talk to one shop that said they didn't think the firestone kits would fit that vehicle and they recommended the Airlift brand.
I've always ran the Firestones and have not experience with Airlift so I'm looking for advice or recommendations.
I will hit the internet asap but know I can get good info and advice from this forum.
Thanks for your help

I have a 3/4 ton Ford. We installed Super Springs. They work great and our truck doesn't squat at all and handles great when we pull our 38 ft. Monty. However, if you use your truck alot not towing you would be better off getting air bags so you can soften the ride.

I have a 2014 F350 with stock suspension and original shocks. I am considering air bags or sumo springs or ???
My truck does not squat, does not bottom out. All I am trying to accomplish is reduce/eliminate some of the up and down I call porpoising on bridges and overpasses. Would either option do anything to help? I don't want to waste money.
BTW, I am also considering Bilstein shocks since the originals are 70,000 miles and 6.5 years old. Any recommendations would be fantastic.

I actually hooked up the truck again and it actually sits pretty level after I took it out of the driveway. but yes the air springs will help with the rhythm of the road and bouncing. All in all I think it will be a good decision while keeping the ride quality.
