Big problems

We have a 2016 3440RL. We bought it in 2018 new. First problem was with the furnace. Had to be replaced. In the last year our refrigerate leaks. The tray at the top does not catch the water.we try to keep a cloth down outside the refrigerate. But sometimes it has leaked and has messed up the wood at bottom. But the worse thing is our recliners the pleather as the call it has come off. Makes a big mess and it is awlful. Started this year. You would think you pay over $60, 000 these things would not happen. Don’t know what to do about these things.very disappointed. We do live in this full time. We have travelled the country. Has anyone else had these problems. Have pics below

The water catch tray inside feeds water through the back of the fridge and fills a cup behind the bottom vent panel. More than likely that tube sitting in the tray is plugged. You get to clear it out with a small brush. The fake leather chairs did that to all of us. Throw them out and go get better fake leather chairs that can be found in lots of places. They come apart so you can get them out the door...same with new ones. We went with a Chinese knockoff of the stressfree recliners.

Is the catch tray tight to the rear wall? There is a nipple protruding from the tray that fits into the tube.

Our expectation on RV furniture was never very high, after all it is supplied by the low bidder. On our 2010 we dumped the recliners and the sofa after our first trip. On this rig we have already replaced the sofa and the dinning chairs, the theater seats are on the list for replacement next year.

We didn’t have the fake leather but after several years the recliners started coming apart. Ordered new ones from a furniture store, still with fabric. The are half the weight and much sturdier than the originals. They are made by Best Home Furnishing and are very comfortable and easy to move when getting ready to pull the slides in.

We have a 2015 3440RL, I am sorry about your problems, I have no idea why our "leather" furniture looks the same as when we bought the trailer. Never a problem with the furnace. Once the drain was plugged on the refrigerator, fixed it myself.

I need new recliners but can’t find any that are zero wall clearance, power recliners are too heavy. Where do you find recliners that will fit ?

We have a 2016 3160 Legacy and have a similar water issue with our water collection tray inside the fridge. Water was collecting on the bottom shelf of the fridge and crisper boxes. I went on the Domestic site and found that they sell a piece of double sided tape to stick the collection tray to the back wall. I went to our local Ace Hardware store and bought a roll of 1/4 inch, double sided sticky insulation tape. I stuck to the back side of the tray and pushed the tray uptight to the back wall of the fridge. My dripping condenser now no longer leak inside the fridge. I also found that I need to check the collection tray on the outside of the rig and dump it occasionally now that it is collecting all the fridge water condensation.

Pictures of this repair/fix would be nice. I have found water on the floor twice now in front of the frigid so I guess this is were it is coming from.

Unfortunately, our5th wheel is parked at our RV storage yard and I can not open the slides to take a picture of the fix for you. We had the same problem with water on the floor in front of the fridge. It turned out to be the water collection tray was not pushed all the way back against the back wall of the fridge. By applying the two sided insulation tape to the back side of the tray, pushing it back in place, it now collects the condensate water dripping from the fridge cooling fins, not allowing it to run down the back wall of the fridge and out on to the floor of the rig.

Check out the Lazy Boy "Pinnacle". We bought 2 of them in REAL leather and they were great.

La-Z-Boy have many models of wall huggers that will work and what we installind in ours.

That fridge water - we had minor flooding until we learned that the tray in the fridge box wasn't tight against the drain hole. If it's a Dometic fridge, it has a little check valve on the end of the hose that on our last 5er plugged with crud and caused a wet fridge floor

The furnace was made by one of a couple suppliers and sometimes they just don't work. Usually is a simple fix like a circuit board or sail switch that goes bad. Sounds like yours may have been a warranty, shotgun replacement which for you was the best course the dealer could take for both of you
