Sre4000

I have already paid for the upgrade and installation of the SRE4000 at the 2019 Fall Rally. Also going with 3 X Factor cross braces. I am wondering if other owners have had any problems with the increased height of the Montana 3791's? Any other concerns are welcome also.
Thanks,
Joe

I installed the SRE-4000 and three X-factor braces. I have seen a very noticeable difference in the ride of the trailer. We just returned from Alaska and experienced some very rough roads and had no issues with things in the trailer moving around. No issue with the added height. I think you made a good decision.

Are you saying the SRE-4000 upgrade increases the ride height of your trailer?
If so, by how much? I was considering this upgrade when I upgrade to disc brakes after the first of the year. Sure would like any additional feedback on this upgrade.

I upgraded to the SRE-4000 when I added disc brakes. I think it raised the trailer about an inch. I really like the way it smoothed out the ride of the trailer.

sameo sameo

I put the 3 xFactors and the 4000`s and a Air ride pin box on at the at same time. I`m sure the xFactors help with the frame stability as it ties both sides together better than the factory cross braces with spot welds and good for hard twisting tight turns, as they say sure can`t hurt. As for the 4000`s don`t know don`t ride back there and never did have any real bouncing with my 3791 but the design and concept sure sounds good. The 4000`s raised my camper 1/2 inch and helped a small amount with my nose high condition. I was more worried about causing the Frame Flex issue without this stuff that happened anyway. So who knows.
Don`t have any pics of this to help with post validity.

IMHO the sre4000 does nothing to address the real issue with trailer suspensions. The joints where the springs are mounted ware out. The only fix I know of is the Mor Ryde IS

I think this probably true. And the 4000`s are just a band aid but still better than the stock parts. I`m just not willing to invest that much time and money in something that I trade every 5 years. Yeh I know but I`m willing to leave thousands and thousands of dollars in cash deprecation on the table when I trade. LOLOLol
