Louisville Camping

Will be in Louisville for 4th of July for 5 days, any suggestions for campgrounds.

AS an old Louisville (louavul) resident , I can tell you that there are NO nice campground in the immediate Louisville area. KOA in Shepardsville or Grandpa's. Both are south of Lou. there is one in Shelbyville (east of Lou). Across the river into Southern Indiana the closest, decent place is Add More Campground, Clarksville. All there are less than 30 minutes from downtown. Feel free to Email or PM if you'd like additional info.

Thanks MikenAngie, appreciate the info. We are looking to stay at the AddMore Campground. Our youngest is playing in a big baseball tournament for 5 days, all around Louisville, so we think this will be perfect. Again thanks so much!!

You can check the Charlestown State Parkmin ChRlestown, In. It is approximately 30 minutes into Louisville. There are full hookmup sites with 50 amp and they are paved.
