Getting the shine back

Hi all. First of all what a great information source. My 2015 305RL has been overall very good. I noticed last winter some streaking on the sunny side but at first thought it was primarily frost marks but once the weather warmed up I realized it was oxidation. When I finally started the repolishing project I've found I'm not completely satisfied with the results. Any suggestions on technique, cleaner and polish brands. Thanks in advance and happy RVing

Meguiars Cleaner Wax and elbow grease works pretty well.

Polish

Thats about the same item I'm using only this is strictly a cleaner then I'll go over it with the polish. Definitely lots of elbow grease. I've been using a polisher and it works quite well. Wish I would have noticed the fading last year, oh well live and learn. May have to invest in a cover. Thanks a lot for your help

McGuire’s has a three package kit marketed towards boaters for heavy oxidation. First is a mild rubbing compound, second a marine fiberglass wax, and then a polish. Significant workout even with a buffer but great results. Once the shine is back, just using the wax will maintain.

Thanks that is probably what I have only not in a kit. I picked it up at a local paint coating distributor. Seems to be working ok. Thanks again
