I got the new truck 2015 Ram 2500 with factory under bed fifth wheel package ordered the Reese rail kit mounting adapter that is supposed to drop in place this is not the case even after trying to adjust as they suggest . Looking for anyone who has encountered the same problem.

Does your truck have the hockey pucks pieces in the bed? The Ford that I looked at awhile back had the factory package with the rails under the bed. Is your Dodge set up that way? When I looked it seemed that a lot of that style hitch was listed at 18K. Let us know what you find out as my next TV if it is a pickup will have the hidden hitch feature.

It does have the hockey pieces in the bed been in contact with Reese they are going to ship out another one to me.
That is the one I ordered Dick for some reason it's not working out let's see what happens with the next one.

Good luck! I've always found Reese to be good to work with.

My F350 has that setup. I had to mess with it quit a bit to get it installed. Had to loosen the large nuts so the pucks would move around enough to fit into the bed side receivers. Once I did that it went together nicely. I hope your replacement unit works out.

I received the new rail kit for the Dodge which dropped right into place evidently measurements were off on the first one. Looking forward to our first trip with the new truck .

I am glad to see that Reese treated you right and rectified the issues. I have been more than happy with my Reese hitch.
