Ford Backseat storage vs my old Ram

Sure miss the flip down platform that my last two Rams had to make a nice flat surface when the back seats were flipped up. Anybody know if there is some aftermarket product out there for the Ford?

Yeah, my last Ford had the same type flip down platform in the back seat. Made it really easy to put the dog bed back there.

On the new Ford I bought 2 wire rack shelves from Home Depot the length being the width of the longer side of the seat. I used plastic zip ties to tie the two together so the fold in the middle lengthwise. And I made some short legs from small PVC pipe for legs along one edge. With the rear seat folded up, I set the rack in the back seat area, unfold it, and it reaches from the rear of the front seat to the front of the folded up rear seat. The legs support the edge over the floor. Makes a good platform for the dog bed. And I can leave the short side of the seat down in case one of the grandkids is with us. But not nearly as convenient as the old built in platform.i

On the other hand the under seat storage bins do really come in handy.

My 2009 Ford F-350 has the fold out tray and the 2014 had a bin. I went out on eBay and found one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-F250-F3...e66387&vxp=mtr

I went to Ford to see if I could order one and they wanted $800.

$800 will never happen! So did you receive the one from ebay and did it fit with the underseat bins? Ram also had underseat bins though not as large as the Ford ones.

No question, my Dodge Maxi Cab has more inside storage than I've ever had in a truck.
