hitch
I would like to know if I can hook to any 5er hitch I have a capture plate on the pin for a superglide Had my 250 stolen And I have to move the rig Thanks

I think you'll have to remove the capture plate before using a standard hitch.

If you have the plate on your 5th that causes the hitch to move rearward when you turn, You MUST REMOVE IT TO TOW WITH A REGULAR HITCH.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Ford. That's got to suck big time.
As for the capture plate.....you MUST remove it to function properly in any other hitch. If you don't it will cause serious damage as soon as you try to make a turn, no matter how slight.

Ken is 100% right! DO NOT attempt to hook up to a non Superglide hitch with the capture plate still attached to the RV.
After it is removed, no problemo!

Sorry about the Ford. If you hook up another truck that is a short bed with standard hitch, be careful as you turn, because the front of trailer may knock out your back window on truck.
