This is incredible. Keystone stepped up to the plate and is doing something. I'll have to take back what I said about them, but your last post they sure deserved it. I'm glad I am wrong about my feelings about them on your situation and that there's a better light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm sure you'll post the progress up to and including get it remedied and back on the road. We're very happy for you.

Dave,
We're so glad to hear that Keystone is taking care of you. I hate to think how I would have reacted in a similar situation, being forced to give up my dream. Thank goodness you had Betsy to help you through this.

That's great news. They repaired 2007 3000rk at last years rally and was a job that I had done and was messed up.They didn't have to touch it but they did. After 5 k miles it still is fine. I've passed the word about what they did to several potential buyers. I' m glad that it worked out! See you in "Q". Bill

This is good news, we watch with close interest when Keystone or Montana dealers don't step up. In this case it appears to have taken a little push back to get a more reasonable response. Way to go!

Dave & Betsy,
Glad this turned out the way it did and that Keystone is doing the right thing. We look forward to seeing you both in Quartzsite in 2014

A little late or should I say a lot late as Keystone should have done this immediately. I don't know if it was from the bad publicity they were getting from the angry members of this group or that they realized they made a mistake and wanted to mend the error of their ways by denying your claim to begin with. Whatever the reason, Keystone has done the right thing and that's the most important factor in this matter. So for this I say Three Cheers to Keystone for making the right decision. Keeping your customers happy is the best advertisement there is. Now as Tom S suggested go take you lovely wife out to dinner, if you're anything like
me she deserves it. Good Luck

keystone takes a lot of documentation to approve a claim besides what they see on a forum or what we tell them. They always require a good set of pictures. These folks have seen every problem there is an a good set of pictures can tell them a lot.

I have a question, doesn't the Monty come with a 12 yr warranty on the roof? Wouldn't it be covered under warranty anyway? Sorry if I missed some of the details, just wondering!

The EPDM rubber membrane has a 12 yr warranty but there wasn't anything wrong with the rubber. Dicor had nothing to do with the install.
