Good test, sort of

Had 60mph wind gusts the other day and were sitting cross wise to the wind. Had that happen in NM last year about this same time. Last year we were set up with the stock, for our rig, landing gear and stabilizer. Was somewhat scary. This year we had level-up, we added last fall with the Rally special, and the noise level from the wind was the same, but the rig was totally stabile. The reason for the "sort of" is that we kept our rear stabilizers and had them down also in addition to the level-up so it wasn't a fair test compared to a new rig with level-up only. If you don't have level-up and wonder if it's worth the money. Yes it is, and usually you can save a bunch of money if you come to the fall rally and use the rally special.

Ours is very stable and we don't have the additional manual stabs.

If you look at the front jacks from the direction of where your tow vehicle would be you can see that the front landing jacks are angled outward. I think this really helps to stabilize the rig, especially in the cross wind situation. The level up system makes camping a lot easier. Wouldn't be without.

Question, when the level up system was installed, was it stated how much weight it will add to the unit?

Never ask. But it can't be that much. I worry about weight more when Joyce goes shopping, particularly for stuff for the home base. Can't give you an exact amount because we also added IS and disk brakes so it's impossible to know.

When we decide as RVers to modify our rigs, especially with adding Level-up, BigFoot, individual suspension, disk breaks, etc., I don't think that the amount of weight added is of any consequence. What are you going to do, leave HER home?
