Campground Apps
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good phone app for finding campgrounds while on the road?
I found one called "Camp and RV - Campgrounds Plus" by Allstays for $5.99 and was wondering if any of you have tried it?
Thanks ahead of time,
Scott

I have the Iphone AllStays Camp & RV APP. Yes I recommend it. I find it very useful and up to date. It does a lot more than just camp grounds.
Low Clearances
RV dealers and type business
Interstate rest areas
Camping type stores
Truck service type business

We Camp Here ----- its free but is a lil slow. But gives good info on camp grounds close to you and even gives the satellite dish settings for that location.

We have all three and use them. We also have an App called RV Companion that even in it's free version has a leveling function that is what we use to level the rig. Just go to more, hit level and lay the phone or tablet on the floor inside the door and it tells you how many inches you need to raise or lower side to side and front to back.

Thanks for these valuable reviews based on your use.
Now, for a related question: I have been using the Trailer Life "Campground Navigator" for trip planning on my desktop computer. Mine is several years old, and for some reason the latest version is not available. What do you use for the trip planning before you leave home, on your desktop computer?

@ Tom. AllStays Camp & RV APP is available on Google Play for androids.
@ David. I use the current 2012 version of the Trailer Life software. It is very good and I even connect it to a external GPS receiver and use it for directions will traveling. I would much rather have a 15" screen vs. those little things.
@Dave. "We Camp Here" now costs $2.99 on Google Play.
I also use the AllStays Camp and RV. Nice app.

X2 John Kohl. So much more info than campgrounds also! When you click on the located symbol it gives you a new screen with info on the Campgrnd, directions, web address, phone, address....reviews take you to another site.
Another iPhone app I use frequently (appointed navigator) is iExit. For interstate use & some state highways, it tells what exit #'s are coming up & what is at these exits (that you choose), fuel stops, restaurants, fast food, grocery stops, etc.
Plus the Flying J & Gas Buddy apps.

I downloaded the Camp & RV app and it seems to be very useful. Like it so far and can't wait to try it out on our next trip. It is full of very useful information. Just wish I could marry it up to my GPS to share the info.
Thanks everyone for your input!
