Sea Fair, Seattle Wa.
Hello All I was blessed this year, we made a move to Lynnwood Wa. Then I found out that the Blue Angels were to do a show at Sea Fair, which happens each year. The exciting part is my Son works the with the ground crew, Aviation Maintenace. So I contacted him a couple of weeks in advance and he got my wife and I Tickets. My 81 year young Mother couldn't go becacuse her legs wouldn't let her walk that much. She has never met my son. We got to the parking area at Qwest Field and then took the Light Rail to Othello Station and then took a shuttle bus to the water front. We were heading to the gates and I saw on of the Lions Club members anwsering questions for people that have never been there. So I asked how we proceed, and showed him the tickets I had, he walked me to the gate and most every thing was free to us, pits of the hydro boat, and a vip section for the family of the Blue Angels crew. What a show. Then my Son meet us at 5;30 for Dinner after that he came over to the RV Park we run and stayed for a few hours answering our questions about his career in the Navy, he has been in eight years is an E-6 and will Take his test for E-7 in January. He was also Blue Angels of the quarter the last four months. As he left he gave my Mom a huge hug she was so thrilled, She is loseing her eyesight to Mucular Degeneration and told me if she could just see my son before she when blind, it would make it less painfull. So we had a very blessed event in our world. As you can tell how proud of My Son we all are. Sorry this is so long just had to Share, there is so much trouble in the world, but still great things can happen.

randye,
You have a right to be proud of your son. He sounds like a young man we all can be proud of. Thank you and your family for your son's service to this nation.

Thanks Ed and Champ We are in awe of him. He has passed our expectations two fold. He now wants to apply after the Angels let him go for the Intelligents corp. He seems motivated to stay in for the long run.

Thanks for sharing. Blue Angels are an elite Navy group of pilots and support personnel. Good luck to your Son in his effort to advance to E-7 Chief Petty Officer. What a great accomplishment that will be for him. CPO from PO is a giant leap for many. We are all proud of our Military, especially the Navy of which I was a part. Thanks.

Congratulations, he didn't get there by being second best. Tell him that an old soldier said thanks for the extra effort.
