3295RK Bedroom TV space

I need the dimentions H-W-D of the cubby hole in the bedroom where a TV will go. My Montana 3295RK fifth wheel trailer is stored and our next trip will include the Granddaughters. I plan to buy a TV with either VHS or DVD to fit this spot. I don't know if a 9' or 13' TV will be best. Dewey

Don't have a 3295 but in our 3575 the 13 in will work. It did in the Jayco we had.

Hi....we have one too. The H & W is 18" square opening. We put in a 13" TV and it does the trick. Would have been nice tho to have a larger one!
Hubby is now trying to figure out wiring for the basement to move TV and watch it from outside. Talk about the easy life!

You might know that they don't build them all the same. Our 3295RK came with a 19" TV installed in the bedroom. The opening is 19" wide x 16" high.

Dewey ... We have a 2003 3295RK and we have a 13" TV/VCR combo in the cubby with room to spare. We bought this TV to put in our 2001 2880RL ... so, if the 13" combo will fit in a 2001 and a 2003, that size will probably fit your 2002.

As Vicki mentioned, the 2002 should be nearly identical to our early 2003 model (ours does not have the flat floor like the later 2003).

The "cubby" is not square. It is shorter on one side than on the other. Also, the opening has some molding around it that makes the opening smaller than the dimensions of the cabinet itself. This is hard to explain so I hope you can visualize this. Here's the dimensions.

The opening through which you have to maneuver the TV:
19" high by 15 3/8" wide.

The cabinet in which the TV will reside once you get it through the opening:

20 1/2" high by 19 1/2" wide.
16" deep on the left (closet) side and 11 3/4" deep on the other side. I know this makes it hard to tell what depth of TV will work. The midpoint should be halfway between 11 3/4 and 16, or almost 14 inches.

If you need a bit more depth, the molding is about 3/4 " so you could add that much to the depth.

We have the same TV that Vicki has, the VCR combo. Works great,13" is just the right size for the Bed Room.

We have the 3295. We fit a 13 inch TV/VCR combo with a DVD player sitting on bottom. This almost didn't fit. We put 4 screws in each corner and use 2 bungie cords to hold TV in while traveling. DVD player fits under the lip on bottom, so don't have to worry about it falling out. Hope this helps.

Another option for consideration, we bought a 15" flat LCD TV (about 2 1/2" deep, Sam's Club, $295.00) and sit it on the dresser top. Run cable & elect thru small finished hole in side of "closet". When traveling it fits under the bed nestled in with pillows and extra blankets.
We figured we'd retain the tv closet for other valuable storage space. This option doesn't provide DVD or VHS but could be arranged.
