Ah Kansas!

Well the tanks are almost full and the rear stabilizers are down, in addition to the level-up. For the first time since we've been back the severe storms for tomorrow are adding tornados to the mix of high winds and hail that are possible for our part of the state. Will be killing the spiders and putting supplies in the storm shelter latter today. Have to be looking good, we could have company over in the next couple of days.

Be safe Dick, we have been watching the weather from here in SE Texas and it is not looking good up that way. We are heading out Sat and will be in Moore, OK Monday for the steps repair and guess we have to continue to watch the weather once we get near your way as it is that time of the year when it changes on a dime!

Yes, it's rare for them to be talking about tornados all week so maybe we'll get lucky and it will go somewhere else. Moore is a bad place to be this time of year, but Monday should be ok. Get in and get out fast.

Good morning kids. Dick and Joyce, just a thought on the storm shelter. When we close up the 5th wheel, Susie puts 2 or 3 large lids turned over full of charcoal brickets. She read that that gets rid of the spiders, and so far we have never had any in the 5th wheel. Maybe that will help your clean out process. Good luck in the weather, Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Be safe, guys!! Get that stuff blown through there now. We'll be at Hillsdale and Tuttle for the latter half of the month of May, then Wichita in June. It's a pain, but Kansas really is a great place to be from!!

Well it's west of us now. Scott city way west of us had three on the ground at the same time. Sun should be down when the line gets here. Hopefully it will calm down a little.

Thanks! it is what's good about this forum and the folks in it. Most parts of the country have their issues, this is just the time of year for us. Severe storms predicted for a couple of days next week already.

With the possibility of a tornado, it's a good thing your Monty has a basement!

It was the convincing factor in the purchase of the storm shelter we put in a couple of years ago. And of course, it's a traditional place to store home canned goods

Now we're having flooding. Manhattan, KS, where K State is located, got 4.5" the other night. We did need rain around here, but not that much and we have rain forecast everyday until Monday. Wish we could share some with you.
