Nice going Pat. If you were successful in getting the lien on his property, you may be able to forclose against it, at least in some states. If that happens, it will cost him a lot more than the balance of $1500 he owes you. Good luck.

HAPPY CONCLUSION!!!!
After the courthouse lady put a hold on the contractor's checking account, I figured he'd just close the business account and I'd never get the rest of my money.
But his bank called the courthouse lady and told her that he had a PERSONAL account too, with enough in it to cover the judgment. The courthouse lady said, "Slap a lien against that account, honey."
She called me yesterday with the news, and today she put a check for the rest of my judgment in the mail!
YAY!

Pat - check with the state to see if he is a licenced contractor and if not make a formal complaint with the state. Most states require a licence for that kind of
work. By the way - Nice Job and keep after him.
