Air Traffic Controllers Retiring in Central Florid

Tonights local Orlando news is that AT controllers are retiring earlier than expected from Orlando. The crews are working high rates of OT. You may say "what else is new", however, while you're in Florida, it's too bad you couldn't work as a casual ATC for some Christmas gift money! Just kidding! Dennis

That profession was very kind to both of us as we are both retired from Air Traffic Control..Me from the technician side and her the Air Traffic side.It can be very stressful as the responsibility for human life is awesome.There were many , many days that I would not care to live through again.Although we both loved our jobs and they have allowed us the lifestyle we now live....We do not miss it one bit. We can relate to the folks in Orlando...Enough is enough and money is not the issue.
