The 375FL has both a front and a back door on opposite sides. The "porch" light turns on both amber lights for both doors at the same time. The switch is in the panel with the other light switches, slide out switches, water pump switch and water heater switches.

If the amber lights do not turn on, the bulbs are blown.

We had an awning installed over the rear door on the opposite side. They installed one exactly like the front door, including LED lights and the power strip in the awning arm. However, in order to install the awning, the amber porch light (on the back) had to be replaced with a different shaped light, so they installed a short, very bright, LED style light above that back door. It's bright! It still turns on with the same switch, same as the amber over the front door. I really wish the amber light over the front door was switched out too with the one replaced on the back door.

So, that porch light switch will run both lights above both doors at the same time. If they both do not work, the bulbs are out. If only one comes one, then definitely, the other one is blown out.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

About that shade, you have to get a ladder and then you can open the shade. It slides, it is not motorized. We keep a 2 foot step ladder at the front door so we can reach everything in the camper. We use it all the time.
