Horizontal Slide Agistment

I have the LCI instructions on how to make the adjustment. I have loosened the four bolts (two on each end of the guide tube). Now the instructions say to manually move the slide by pushing on the end of the slide. Mine won't budge. Has anyone out there made this adjustment? How far out did you position the slide? Barely out, midway, or completely out? Also, did you retract the vertical adjustment bolt? If not, I am trying to move the slide across the top of the bolt (I think). I can barely get the tip of my finger in between the slide and the slide frame on the front side, but can get almost my entire hand in at the rear. Also the plastic wheel well cover on the slide lays on top of the short stationary piece below the door. Don't want to take it back to the dealer, this is the way they left it when I had it adjusted last summer.

For those interested, I took a flat pry bar and short piece of a thin board to back the pry bar and moved it over. I knew that was an option but was just chicken to try it. But finally did and it worked.

I've watched everyone of those, but none helped with this adjustment. But thanks for checking.

Are the slide wipers even on both sides now?

I had to make vertical and horizontal adjustments, plus adjust the lock nuts on the hydraulic cylinder, both nuts were tight against the guide tube bracket. And finally, I had to drop the rear gear pack and push the slide in to synchronous the two gear packs. So now it is fairly centered vertically, before the plastic fender skirt on the slide was on top of the stationary piece of skirt in front of the slide. The material on the front bottom of the slide was being scraped away when extending/retracting the slide due to rubbing on a flat metal plate (not sure what it is for, the slide rests on it when extended). The rear of the slide did not rub against the rear plate.
