Rear Observation Camera Wiring

I was happy to see the comments about this issue. Our Montana 2015 3160 Legacy had a Furrion camera and monitor. Made several attempts to pair the camera and monitor. Camera showed no life. I had it checked and found out. I would have to buy a new monitor and camera because the model I had is no longer made. I then did a little research and found several units which were better and cheaper. I decided on an EchoMaster which worked at first try and was automatically tuned as soon as the cameras was on instantly. I like the HD monitor, the audio, and the simplicity. It also has a 3 year warranty. I am very happy with the new unit and it had a 7 inch monitor too. Costs for new unit was 400+

My trailer was pre-wired at factory and I used the same plug-in on the wire from the new unit. Apparently the factory wiring does not require turning the lights on.
I appreciate everyone’s comments and I have looked at many comments by MOA’s
Thanks
